Based upon the Pulitzer Prize-winning book by Larry McMurtry. Lonesome Dove continues to be a treasured classic for generations to come. Retired Texas Rangers Gus McCrae (Robert Duvall) and Woodrow Call (Tommy Lee Jones) are content to live out their remaining years in the tiny, late 19th Century Texan town of Lonesome Dove. The good-old-life quickly dissipates when the pair’s old friend Jake Spoon comes to town and tells them about the incredible opportunities for cattle ranching in Montana. Encouraged by this, Call convinces Gus and many other townspeople to go on the perilous cattle drive. Gus has another agenda though: a second chance with his former sweetheart in Nebraska...
